Our guide to onboarding documentation, checks and process

Welcome on board

We understand that setting up an e-commerce operation is complicated enough.

So our onboarding process is structured to ensure that there are no unforeseen issues that might delay your launch date.

We’ve kept it as straightforward as possible, and much of it can be done by you online.

We work with you, and with our banks, to put all the pieces in place as rapidly as can be, and you’ll have a dedicated person on the Telr team to lead you through all the steps.

Crossing the t’s and dotting the i’s…

  • Firstly, we need to confirm your documentation, check your website, and put together an agreement to be signed by you.
  • Your documentation can all be uploaded online for us to confirm, making the process as quick and painless as can be.

Bank approval

  • As soon as we have your documents and the signed agreement back from you, and have confirmed that your website has the required content, we send everything to the bank for them to approve and issue your Merchant ID (MID).
  • This can take between three days and a week – while we’re waiting for your MID to be issued, though, we can start working on integration.
