How do I sign up with Telr?
You can create an account today by visiting telr.com and clicking on Sign Up. Just enter your details into the short form and you will receive an email containing details on how to access your account. After you login you will have full access to the platform, documentation and support so you can start on integration right away. In order to enable your account to accept live credit cards you must visit the Account tab and upload the required documentation about your business. Our onboarding team will then contact you to finalise the process of making your account live.
Can I switch plans?
Yes this happens automatically. When you first start processing with Telr you will be billed according to the Entry pricing plan. If, in a given calendar month, you process more than the maximum volume defined for the current pricing plan then from the 1st day of the following month you will automatically move up to the next pricing plan. If, in a given calendar month, you process less than the minimum volume defined for the current pricing plan then from the 1st day of the following month you will automatically move down to the previous pricing plan.
How do I cancel my Telr Payment Gateway account?
You can cancel your Telr Payment Gateway account at any time by giving 30 days notice in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Does Telr charge a fee for transfers to my company bank account?
For the Telr Entry pricing plan there is no charge for remittances to your account but this is subject to a minimum balance of 500 AED. For the Small and Medium pricing plans we charge AED 50 per remittance unless the balance is greater than AED 2,000 in which case the remittance fee is waived.
In which countries can I work with Telr?
Telr is live today in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and India. We will be launching soon in Jordan and Egypt.
When will Telr pay funds to my company bank account?
Telr will remit all outstanding funds to your company bank account every two weeks. This is subject to a minimum balance of AED 500 in your gateway account and any delayed settlement period defined for your current pricing plan.
Will Telr ask for a security deposit to be paid?
No Telr does not require that your business pay a security deposit to process online payments through the Telr Payment Gateway.
What currencies can I accept with Telr?
The Telr Payment Gateway accepts all major international currencies. However, our acquiring bank partners in specific geographies may offer only a subset of currencies. Our onboarding team will discuss this with you during the account approval process and advise you on which currencies you will be able to accept.
What currencies can Telr pay funds to my company bank account?
In general, Telr can remit funds to your company bank account in either the native currency of your country or in US dollars. However, in specific geographies we may be able to offer additional settlement currency options. Our onboarding team will discuss this with you during the account approval process and advise you on which currencies you will be able to accept.
